Saitenspiele: Duo Elún - "Contrastes"

What's it about?

Duo Elún – "Contrastes" Valentina Solis - Double bass & Charango Christian Leonardo Zack - Guitar Duo Elún consists of Valentina Solis (double bass & Charango) and Christian Leonardo Zack (guitar). With their music, the two have carved out a distinctive profile: they combine South American soundscapes with classical chamber music, rhythmic sophistication, and a unique musical language. Their music moves between the Andes, Buenos Aires, and Santiago – and at the same time within the world of fine tonal colors and European concert tradition. A lively play of contrasts, which is also reflected in the title of their new album Contrastes. An concert experience full of energy, tonal depth, and personal stories – and it quickly becomes clear: this duo not only shares the stage but also a special connection.
