The medieval town of Hall near Innsbruck is considered the birthplace of the Taler and the Dollar. Thanks to an early mint, it also gained international importance. The Münze Hall Museum shows the origins of coin minting, also thanks to the nearby silver mining. The life-size replica of a minting machine from that time brings the past to life. You can marvel at all of this within medieval walls. Those who wish can also climb the Münzerturm: It holds many stories and allows you to look out over large parts of the Inn Valley. Please note: The Innsbruck Card only includes admission to the Münze, not the Münzturm.
