Gallery opening hours: Wednesday to Friday 12:00 – 18:00, Saturday 10:00 – 16:00. With two consecutive solo shows, Galerie 422 invites visitors in summer 2026 to discover contemporary art in its diversity and spatial presence. Starting in early August, Galerie 422 will present a solo show by Alfred Haberpointner as part of the second Festwochen exhibition. With his wooden sculptures, the artist has been one of the most distinctive representatives of contemporary Austrian sculpture for years. In head sculptures, wall reliefs, and object-like panel paintings, he explores fundamental sculptural parameters such as volume, weight, and proportion. Between abstraction and figuration, his works develop a tense relationship between corporeality, space, and perception. Free admission!
