What's it about?

The author presents texts, talks about her working methods, and provides insights into her projects and plans for her time in Wels, which will be entirely dedicated to new impulses. The jury's decision was based on the high literary quality of her submitted text, her linguistic precision, and her convincing workshop concept for working with young people. Katrina Mogler was born in Carinthia in 1988 and now lives in Vienna. She is a writer, high school teacher, visual artist, specialist in prevention and intervention in sexual abuse, and a trauma pedagogue in training. She sees her literary work as a contribution to an understanding, critical, and open society. During and after the reading, there will be an opportunity to engage in stimulating conversations and exchange with the author. We are enormously looking forward to it!
