The Art of Local History Research - what was or is true
What's it about?
"The Art of Local History Research - what was or is true" is dedicated to lively local historiography. Local historians and regional museums preserve everyday history, strengthen regional identity, and complement the institutional perspective with important voices from below. At communale oö 2026, an entertaining stage and discussion format will be created at 10 "Mut-Orte" (courageous places) around the Peasant War of 1626, accompanied by Sigi Kristöfl. It makes historical contexts understandable, honors the work of local history research, and invites the audience to rediscover local history. A project of communale oö 2026.
