The Romanesque church from the 12th century is one of the most significant buildings of European sacred art. Over the centuries, this building, erected as a bishop's church, has become a total work of art encompassing all architectural styles: the crypt with a hundred columns holds the tomb of St. Hemma, the bishop's chapel with frescoes (13th century), the Lenten veil (1458).
