What's it about?

Where Carinthia's history began From the city area of Klagenfurt, this tour leads out into the vast Zollfeld – the valley where key chapters of Carinthia's history were written. Between fields, churches, and historic sites, a landscape full of significance unfolds. Stations such as the Herzogstuhl (Duke's Seat), the Fürstenstein (Prince's Stone), and the Cathedral of Maria Saal tell of the time of the duke's appointment and the political rituals that shaped Carinthia. A tour that combines movement and history – through the historic heart of the land. Breaks are available along the way (consumption not included). A trip to the origins of the land. Meeting point: Neuer Platz, at the bike sign at the beginning of Tabakgasse.
