What's it about?
After years on stage, countless festival appearances, and several acclaimed albums, the Steaming Satellites have long been considered a fixture of the Austrian music scene. With their unmistakable sound blending indie rock, psychedelic, and electronic elements, the band has built a loyal fan base well beyond Austria. Last year, the Steaming Satellites delighted the audience at the Rosental Rož Festival in Carinthia. In 2027, they return — this time to the main stage of the Klagenfurt Festival at Burghof, with their new album in tow. A reunion that promises to be a pretty big evening: Burghof is allowed to dance — and probably shake a little. Since their debut album "Neurotic Handshake at the Local Clown Party," the Steaming Satellites have toured across Europe and in the USA. Their music has not only charted but also appeared in films: the song "How Dare You!" was part of the soundtrack of the award-winning film "Das finstere Tal". With their new album, the Steaming Satellites are opening the next chapter of their story — and bringing their distinctive sound back to Carinthia.
