Special Guest: An entire exhibition space is dedicated to an intervention by painter and sculptor (and Bachmann admirer) Anselm Kiefer. The exhibition documents Ingeborg Bachmann's engagement with war, illness, and relationship and gender issues. It highlights the author's passionate interest in music and philosophy and leads to key locations in her writing biography. Through film clips, photographs, and audio recordings, it also makes comprehensible the melancholically shimmering aura that early on made Ingeborg Bachmann an icon of literature...
