On this evening, the last reading of summer 2026 will take place on the second floor of the Kur- und Amtshaus in Altaussee. The Literaturmuseum Altaussee has invited the popular Burgtheater actor Gerhard Ernst to present this special story about "Der Herr Karl". The life of delicatessen salesman Karl is told in the back room of the "Feinkost Wawra" shop. His complicity, antisemitism, and moral flexibility during and after the Nazi era are revealed.
