Waisenegger Christkindlmarkt

What's it about?

Every year on the first Advent weekend, the traditional Waisenegger Christkindlmarkt takes place in Waisenegg. The event location, as in previous years, is in front of the traditional inn and gourmet restaurant Gallbrunner, with the romantic Troadkasten (wooden barn) in the courtyard. The Christkindlmarkt is only an hour's drive from Graz and attracts numerous visitors each year. More information will follow.... Highlights of the Waisenegger Christkindlmarkt include a cookie baking workshop for children, a nativity scene, Styrian craftsmanship, and culinary delights.
