Fresh, regional, and authentic market atmosphere: For over 30 years, the Bauernmarkt (farmers' market) at Kirchplatz and the surrounding streets in Leoben's city center has been a staple of regional supply and a popular meeting point for visitors. Every Tuesday and Friday morning, Styrian vendors offer a diverse selection of fresh and regional products. The range includes fruit and vegetables, flowers, meat and cheese, and pastries. The Bauernmarkt combines the shopping for regional foods with a visit to Leoben's city center and provides the opportunity to buy directly from Styrian vendors. Market days: Tuesday and Friday, excluding public holidays.
