The church, standing on the eastern slope of Laurentiberg, was built in the years 1499-1505 in the Gothic architectural style. Originally, a wooden cross is said to have stood at this location. This filial church belongs to the characteristic architectural monuments of the late Gothic period in our country and is one of the most valuable cultural buildings in Eastern Styria, dedicated to Saint Lawrence.
