JEDERMANN in Graz - A theatrical event in public space. This JEDERMANN is not a traditional ritual or a museum reproduction. It is a living theatrical event in public space - for people of today, in a city of today. In a contemporary, clear staging, Hugo von Hofmannsthal's classic meets our present: direct, sensual, accessible. Instead of rigid pathos, this version focuses on ensemble narration, direct address to the audience, and an open, modern visual and musical language. What makes this JEDERMANN special: Each city writes itself into the play. The dinner party reflects Graz - its voices, faces, attitudes. Thus, the classic becomes a local event with supra-regional appeal. Music, movement, and text merge into an intense evening of theater that touches, challenges, and resonates. It's about responsibility, power, guilt, and transience - and about the question that concerns us all: What remains in the end?
