What's it about?

John Jones, the powerful and charismatic voice of the legendary Oysterband, is embarking on a new musical chapter after the band's farewell. He is joined on stage by Ray Cooper, also known as Chopper, and Al Scott, two long-time companions from the Oysterband circle. Since the 1980s, Oysterband has been one of the influential folk, rock, and roots bands in the British music scene, receiving multiple awards and performing at major festivals across Europe. The John Jones Trio combines strong songs, traditional sounds, new music, and the experience of decades of stage presence. The three musicians present a varied program of original songs, pieces from their back catalogs, and traditional tunes, using a variety of instruments.
