What's it about?

On October 26, 2026, the 'Open Day' will take place for the 23rd time in museums across Burgenland. This year, 39 museums and collections are participating in this initiative. From Schloss Halbturn to the newly opened Film & Retro Museum in Minihof-Liebau, all participating museums — unless otherwise noted — can be visited free of charge from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The new exhibition 'Le Concert c'est moi - The concert is me' presents Franz Liszt up close in three exhibition areas: at the Liszt birthplace, in the Liszt Salon, and in the Liszt Instrument Collection. The 19th-century superstar is brought to life as a passionate person, a brilliant musician, and a visionary innovator. The new orientation aims to serve as a place of lively music education, European cultural history, and personal discoveries. Open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Link to participating museums.
