Blaufränkischblick

The Blaufränkischblick is a viewing staircase from which you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view over the Horitschon vineyards. The viewing staircase is located on the Blaufränkischweg, which leads for 2.2 km through the vineyards and provides insight into the vegetation and work process of a vineyard year, as well as information about the history, geography, climate, and the importance of the Blaufränkisch grape variety for Horitschon, with 13 large and numerous smaller information boards on the topic of wine. Special attention is also paid to the vineyards, historical peculiarities, and of course, the people behind the wine – the winemakers of the village. You can enjoy the panoramic view from the platform at any time of day!
