What's it about?
For young plumber Peter, life could hardly be more beautiful: he loves his job, his home in Burgenland – and above all his girlfriend Anna. But suddenly everything turns upside down: Anna wants to move to Vienna for her studies and ends the relationship. Peter begins a turbulent journey between heartbreak, love of home, and the big question: stay in the countryside or start anew together in the city? While Peter tries to get his life back on track, North German millionaire heir Sören ends up in Austria. Just before his first day at his father's investment firm, he flees – and ends up with Nanni, a lively South Burgenland woman with her own nail and life coaching studio – and a very special talent for turbulent dates. And then there is Penka, a Viennese woman with Bulgarian roots, who is trying to find the right man at last, caught between her mother's expectations and her own ideas about life. Five friends, love, life, and the question: where is home for me? The Burgenland musical with 15 brand-new songs penned by Butz & Reineke. With lots of energy, humor, emotion, and surprising twists, the audience can expect an engaging musical. An evening of laughter, empathy, and singing along – straight from life, straight to the heart.
