The Mattersburg Ice Rink is a popular meeting point for ice skating enthusiasts of all ages during the winter season. From November to March, the artificial ice rink invites visitors to glide across the ice on skates. The facility is open daily: Monday to Saturday from 8:00 to 20:30 and on Sundays and public holidays from 9:00 to 20:30. During ice preparation, the rink is temporarily closed to ensure optimal conditions.The ice rink is equipped with a lighting system, which also allows for evening skating. Heated changing rooms are available for visitors to change before and after skating.Preschool children enjoy free admission, while adults and older children gain access for a small fee. Holders of the Burgenland Card benefit from free admission. Ice skating courses are regularly offered for beginners and advanced skaters, led by qualified trainers. The courses take place on Mondays from 14:00 to 16:00 and on Saturdays from 10:00 to 13:00. Prior registration is required.
