What's it about?

Nincshof, a small village on the Austrian-Hungarian border, is to be forgotten. This is the plan of three men who call themselves "the Oblivists" and want to escape the hectic times. If no one remembers them anymore, they and the entire village can live in freedom and peace. According to legend, this has happened before in Nincshof. Coincidentally, the old Erna Rohdiebl is supposed to help make this plan succeed, because the three men believe that the old woman has freedom in her blood and is therefore the perfect fit for their movement. Erna Rohdiebl, in her long life, has rarely heard of anything dumber than the idea of disappearing, but her curiosity wins. Evening after evening, the Oblivists storm her corner bench and plot their disappearance over bacon sandwiches and Puszta quail schnapps. Street signs are taken down, important celebrations are canceled, and bothersome bicycle tourists are driven away. Everything seems to be going according to plan.
