Elsewhere begins where the familiar changes and a new perspective becomes possible. The exhibition "WOANDERS" brings together three different artistic positions, each embarking on a search for new worlds in their own way. Michael Baumer develops his pictorial worlds directly from the painting process. Figures, bodies, and relationships emerge between imagination and surprise – familiar yet enigmatic. Solomon Okpurukhre combines abstract painting and sculpture, bringing experiences from different cultural spaces into a lively dialogue. Katharina Buttinger-Kreuzhuber explores the boundaries between inside and outside with color and form. Three artists, three paths, three perspectives – united by the desire to leave the familiar behind and discover something new elsewhere.
