What's it about?

TIMELESSLY BEAUTIFUL.JEWELLERY OF THE ROMAN PERIOD FROM TYROLRoman jewellery fascinates with its diversity and timeless beauty. Whether gold, silver, bronze, copper, iron, bone, glass or amber – the Archaeological Collection of the Tyrolean State Museums preserves a rich collection of jewellery from historical Tyrol, today's Euregio Tyrol-South Tyrol-Trentino. The exhibition "Timelessly beautiful" invites visitors to rediscover these precious testimonies from 500 years of Roman history. Fibulae, rings, bracelets, earrings, necklaces and hairpins tell of fashion and costume, of social status and cultural affiliation.
