Learn to think with the heart - How we can find a new approach to ourselves. EVENT FORMAT: Lecture and discussion In all cultures and religions, the human heart stands for more than just the biological muscle that pumps blood through the body. The Judeo-Christian tradition also recognizes the heart as the place where heaven and earth meet within a person: "He has given them a heart to think with." (Sir 17:6) Modern sciences are rediscovering the exciting connection between the heart, brain, and psyche – and for us, this can open up new possibilities for how we treat ourselves and others with appreciation and empathy.
