Pfarrwerfen, Salzburg
The church in Pfarrwerfen is a fortified church from the 12th century dedicated to St. Cyriacus. The late Gothic place of worship with its 'Basilica Hall' likely dates from the 14th century. Around 1510, the 'Nothelferkapelle' (Chapel of the Helpers) was built in the left side aisle. The three altars are winged altars. The parish courtyard received its current appearance in 1712. The colorful stained glass windows are works by the well-known Salzburg artist Albert Birkle, created between 1952 and 1959. The door of our parish church is always open for you.
