What's it about?
The 7 Mühlen at Pfarrwerfener Mühlbachl are unique in their kind. Water mills have been operated here since the Middle Ages. Over centuries, these 'Gmachmühlen', mills with only one room, contributed to the self-sufficiency of the rural population. On the picturesque mill circular trail, the history and significance of grain cultivation are shown in the historic mill buildings, and the milling techniques are made experiential. This provides a lively insight into the working methods and customs related to grain.
