Craftsmen's Afternoon at the Heimathaus

What's it about?

On Sunday, August 16, 2026, the traditional Craftsmen's Afternoon will take place at the Viechtauer Heimathaus. We start at 2:00 PM with the popular "Heimathaus-Musi". This year, a woodturner, a broom maker, a bird carver, a shingle maker, a distiller, a textile craftswoman, among others, will showcase their skills. In addition, in cooperation with the OÖ-Volksliedwerk, Hubert Tröbinger will motivate those present to sing together under the motto "Singing with a View". Coffee and homemade pastries will be served. Lumberjack dumplings and Bauernkrapfen will be offered. Tours of the house will be conducted upon request for voluntary donations.
