"seismographic calligraphies" Opening on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 2 PM. The exhibition runs until October 31, 2026. In his works, Wolfgang Maria Reiter writes the same text over and over, a text that has captivated him since early childhood. Through constant repetition, the actual content of the text recedes into the background; the script becomes a design tool, and writing becomes a repetitive, meditative process. The meaning always resonates, but the central content of the works is the form. Reiter uses the continuous line of strung-together letters to create his images in various formats through writing. They range from miniatures to three-dimensional script objects that he folds and shapes from inscribed paper. Wolfgang Maria Reiter writes with wooden sticks and ink on tracing paper. The writing becomes a projection surface for the artist's feelings and moods; Norbert Trawöger calls his works "seismographic calligraphies." Museum admission
