Stargazing Evening

What's it about?

The Astronomical Working Group Salzkammergut of the Gahberg Observatory, led by Erwin Filimon, is organizing an astronomy event together with the Stiftsgymnasium and observatory director P. Amand Kraml. In good weather: View of the night sky with portable telescopes; observation comparison of a historic telescope (from the historic collection) with a modern telescope of the same size with P. Amand Kraml. In bad weather: Astronomy workshop with a portable planetarium in the gymnasium, astronomy exhibition with telescopes, and a lecture on the diversity of the universe and amateur astronomy by the Astronomical Working Group Salzkammergut.
