KLAUS DICKBAUERS TRIPLE AY

KLAUS DICKBAUERS TRIPLE AY

Wednesday 2 DecemberSeidl-Keller - Weingut Seidl · niederoesterreich

What's it about?

The Upper Austrian saxophonist and clarinetist Klaus Dickbauer has performed countless times as a member of the Vienna Art Orchestra as well as Saxofour in Bruck/L. He also played two memorable duo concerts with the exceptional bassist Georg Breinschmid and had a sensational appearance with one of the best Austrian (with German support) formations ever, the quintet Nature Way, which unfortunately did not have a long existence. In December, the musician born in Wels in 1961 will again visit our city with his trio Triple Ay. Regarding their CD called Duck Talk, Michael Ternai from music austria correctly writes: "Klaus Dickbauer and his trio release an album with Duck Talk, on which jazz is brought to life in its very lively and playful manner. An album that really brings joy, and not only for seasoned jazz lovers." And Dickbauer's press text explains: "This music has groove, soul, and energy, which is a real pleasure." Overall, joy is the guiding motif here. The wonderful, crazy music presented to the audience is not heard every day. So, there will be plenty of grooving again in the Seidl-Keller. And we will also toast to Mr. Dickbauer's semi-round birthday afterwards. Line-up: Klaus Dickbauer: woodwind instruments and more Martin Gasselsberger: keyboards Wolfi Rainer: drums Admission: €24 (students, apprentices: €16) Presale: €22 Seidl-Keller, Fischamenderstr. 53, Bruck/Leitha or at www.kulturon.at/ €23.50 (including handling fee) Ticket reservation: freiraum@schule.at; seidl-keller@kabsi.at/02162 62349
