The 16 stone houses as well as the rustic Maria-Hilf Chapel are embedded in a picturesque natural setting at 2,000 meters above sea level and are among the oldest alpine pastures in Austria. Those interested can visit the popular photo motif Pfauenauge - a circular lake behind a moraine wall - after a short ascent.
