Rundweg über die Oberhausalm im Oberhauser Zirbenwald

The Oberhauser Zirbenwald in the rear Defereggental is the largest contiguous stone pine (Zirben) stand in the Eastern Alps, covering over 170 hectares. A circular trail approximately 1.3 km long over the Oberhausalm is wheelchair accessible (51 meters of elevation, maximum 12% incline); the starting point is the parking lot at the former Alpengasthof Oberhaus at the end of the toll road, where an e-scooter is available for free rental.
