Honig im Kopf (Honey in the Head) by Florian Battermann and René Heinersdorff, based on the film by Hilly Martinek and Til Schweiger. Honig im Kopf tells the touching and at the same time comical story of Amandus, a loving but increasingly forgetful grandfather, and his courageous granddaughter Tilda. While the family struggles with the challenges of Amandus' forgetfulness – including decapitated hedges, charred shoes, and accidentally ignited fireworks – Tilda devises a wonderful plan: she kidnaps her grandpa to Venice, where his great love story once began. Amidst quirky everyday moments, much heart, and a good dose of chaos, the play shows that while memories may fade, true love remains.
