Honig im Kopf tells the touching and at the same time comical story of Amandus, a loving but increasingly forgetful grandfather, and his courageous granddaughter Tilda. While the family struggles with the challenges of Amandus' forgetfulness - including decapitated hedges, charred shoes, and accidentally ignited fireworks - Tilda devises a wonderful plan: she kidnaps her grandpa to Venice, where his great love story once began. Between quirky everyday moments, a lot of heart, and a good portion of chaos, the play shows that while memories may fade - true love remains. Amandus and Tilda embark on a tragicomic journey and learn everything about forgetting, remembering, and the courage to always face reality with a smile. The underlying film from 2014, starring Dieter Hallervorden, reached an audience of 19 million and is considered one of the most successful German cinema comedies of recent years.
