Course instructor: Marion PassCourse times: Fri, August 7 to Sun, August 9, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 5 PM each day In this course, the canvas is first designed either in a single color, multiple colors, or abstractly, using acrylic paints or gesso. Subsequently, a naturalistic motif is incorporated into the single-color background or the abstract landscape. Starting from a photo, the image, or just parts of it, is transferred to the canvas, primed, and built up layer by layer with acrylic paints - modeled. The exact details are carefully worked out with black and white, and then one can further color it, but it is not mandatory. The contrast of a black or colorful background and a black and white motif also has its charm.
