Aktzeichnen & Kohlezeichnung

What's it about?

Instructor: Marion Pass Course dates: Friday, August 6 to Sunday, August 8, 2027, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM each day In this course, the canvas is initially prepared with a single color, multiple colors, or abstractly, using acrylic paints or gesso. Afterwards, a motif is incorporated realistically into the monochrome background or into the abstract landscape. Based on a photo, the image, or just parts of it, is transferred onto the canvas, primed, and built up layer by layer with acrylic paints—modeled. The specific details are carefully developed with black and white, and then the piece can be further colored if desired. However, this is not necessary. The contrast, whether with a black or colorful background and a black-and-white motif, also has its appeal. The course combines theory and practice: techniques are clearly explained and demonstrated before participants create their own works. Through a playful approach, atmospheric, individual images with personal touch are created.
