The jewelry artist, who returned to her hometown after 40 years, has her studio in Hintere Gasse. Her muse and source of inspiration is the delicate robustness of the nature surrounding her. The works from her jewelry universe are timelessly classic and unobtrusive, yet never monotonous and conventional or clichéd. In the realization of organic forms, she uses rustic structures and plays sensitively with surfaces. Astrid Perauer's interpretative contemporary creations are referred to as author's jewelry. The nuanced textures on the peculiar forms are strong-character design - wearable jewelry. To experience this craftsmanship firsthand, Astrid Perauer offers popular friendship or wedding ring workshops in her studio. Basic craft knowledge is desired for this.
