Snowshoe Tour in the Face of Großglockner

Starting from the middle station of the Grossglockner Cable Cars, this tour takes you through the enchanting winter landscape towards Kasereck or Tauernberg (depending on snow conditions), high above Heiligenblut. Always in view: Großglockner, at 3,798 meters the highest mountain in Austria. Experience the unique nature of the Hohe Tauern very intensively on this snowshoe hike and learn interesting facts about Austria's highest mountain in the largest protected area of the Alps and the impressive mountain world of the Hohe Tauern from your National Park ranger. Meeting point: 10:00 AM, Middle station of the Grossglockner Cable Cars Opening hours: The tour takes place every Thursday from December 31, 2026, to April 1, 2027.
