Grossglockner Bergbahnen

The summit of the Schareck is quickly reached from the gondola exit. At 2,600 m above sea level, a great view of the Grossglockner and up to 40 other 3,000-meter peaks of the Hohe Tauern awaits. For the hike over the Geotrail Tauernfenster, a little more athleticism is required, even if it also starts at the mountain station. The path to the Hochtor is alpine and surefootedness is required.The Heiligenblut-Schareck cable car transports you to our mountains in summer and opens up the pure beauty of nature to you. Open from June to September (detailed opening hours see factbox below), it allows unhindered access to the nature of our Grossglockner/Heiligenblut adventure area.
