The interactive exhibition "The King and his Throne" in the House of Ibexes begins with a journey through time into the past, from the creation of the world's first national park to the present day of the local national parks. On the various levels, located at different heights, you "hike" and experience how animals and plants cope with the challenging conditions of the summit regions. Afterwards, you can enjoy a fantastic view of Austria's highest mountain from the panoramic terrace of the Steinbock Café. The House of Ibexes is an ÖZIV certified establishment. Ranger-led tour through the exhibition in the summer months every Friday from 5-6 PM. Advance registration required.
