Book presentation with Peter Pirker (historian and co-editor), Gerald Lehner (ORF journalist), and Christian Klösch (historian/author) The massive violence of the Nazi regime in Upper Carinthia was long suppressed. It mainly affected thousands of prisoners of war, Gestapo detainees from Slovenia, and forced laborers from all over Europe. The new books "Hinschaun! Poglejmo." and "Im Schatten der Karawanken/Karavanke" look at the crime scenes, name the responsible parties, and remember the victims. Thursday, September 24, 2016, 7 PM Schloss Porcia
