What's it about?
In 'Barefoot in the Park,' the newlywed couple Corie and Paul move into a chaotic New York City penthouse apartment, where their contrasting lifestyles – optimism versus conformity – lead to intense conflicts. After an escalated party, an argument, and Paul’s drunken walk in the park, the two finally reconcile. Directed by Heinrich Baumgartner. Cast: Heinz Arthur Boltuch, Arnold Dörfler, Christa Pillmann, Dagmar Sickl. Broadway: The play premiered in 1963 on Broadway and became a worldwide success. Film adaptation: The story became especially famous through the 1967 film starring Jane Fonda and Robert Redford.
