What's it about?
In "Barefoot in the Park", the newlywed couple Corie and Paul move into a chaotic New York penthouse apartment, where their contrasting lifestyles – optimism versus conventionality – lead to fierce conflicts. After an escalated party, an argument, and Paul's drunken walk in the park, the two finally find each other again. Director: Heinrich Baumgartner Cast: Heinz Arthur Boltuch, Arnold Dörfler, Christa Pillmann, Dagmar Sickl Broadway: The play premiered on Broadway in 1963 and became a worldwide success. Film adaptation: The material became particularly famous through the 1967 film starring Jane Fonda and Robert Redford.
