Herbal Experience from Gurk to Pisweg

What's it about?

We take you on a journey through nature, starting at the imposing Gurk Cathedral. We are Susanne Fischinger, certified herbal expert and forest educator, and Franz Plieschnegger, mountain hiking guide. The challenging hike leads along a sunken forest path to Pisweg (1000 vertical meters). While enjoying the pure forest air, you will learn all sorts of things about the formation of the Gurktal, about stones, herbs, and the forest as a habitat. During a break at the "Debriacher Kreuz", you will enjoy the magnificent view. In Pisweg, we stop at the herbal inn "Zum Kramer". A guided tour of the herb garden is available upon request.
