Unorthodox Radio
What's it about?
On October 3, 2026, a concert will be held at the StadtMacherInnen with the Graz-based band Unorthodox Radio. True to their name, they combine radio-friendly pop melodies with refined arrangements and musical depth. Inspired by R’n’B, Neo-Soul, and Jazz, the five musicians weave funky grooves, improvised solos, and catchy hooks into a distinctive sound. The focus is on the expressive voice of singer and composer Michaela Fröhlich. In her lyrics, she processes personal experiences, sharing them authentically with her audience. The band is completed by Armin Jambor on saxophone, Thomas Quendler on keyboard, Lav Vozlic on bass, and Gloria Handler on drums. Together, the five musicians create expressive songs that captivate their audience from the first moment.
