Wolfsberg Castle is privately owned by Kärntner Montanindustrie. Wolfsberg Castle can be viewed from the outside at any time. A beautiful, leisurely walking path leads from Wolfsberg to the castle. The view from Wolfsberg Castle of the city is unique. At Wolfsberg Castle, the castle restaurant pampers guests year-round with refined small dishes or selected menus. Other rooms of Wolfsberg Castle are open to visitors in July and August as part of a special exhibition. The magnificent building of Wolfsberg Castle, designed in the Neo-Gothic Tudor style, is the landmark of the district capital Wolfsberg. After eventful times and changing owners, the castle came into the possession of the Counts Henckel von Donnersmarck in 1846, who gave the historic building its current appearance.
