Eröffnung 23. Veldener Adventmarkt mit den Bläsern des Musikverein Velden

What's it about?

Opening of the Veldener Advent Market – A light magic begins When Velden am Wörthersee is illuminated with festive lights, the most contemplative time of the year begins. The ceremonial opening of the 23rd Veldener Advent Market will be accompanied musically by the brass players of the Musikverein Velden and will set guests and locals into a festive Advent mood. The official ceremony starts at 5:30 PM in Kurpark Velden with speeches by Mayor Heissenberger, TVB Chairman Anton Sergio Wrann, and VTG Managing Director Hannes Markowitz. A special highlight is the joint countdown to activate the light park, transforming Velden into a sparkling Christmas wonderland. The ecumenical Advent opening with the blessing of the Advent wreath by Pastor Rainer Gugl focuses on reflection and community. For the musical conclusion, the Musikverein Velden will perform a festive Advent concert at Gemonaplatz.
