Kultur am Berg Zusatzkonzert

What's it about?

What happens when one of Austria's most prominent actors, a theologian and psychotherapist, and two outstanding musicians come together in a small mountain church? With "LEISEDIALOGE – Zwischen-Zeit" (Poetry Dialogues – In-Between Time), Kultur am Berg invites on Friday, November 6, 2026, at 7 p.m. to a special cultural evening in the parish church of Pölling high above the Lavanttal. Burg actor Martin Schwab, a long-standing honorary member of the Vienna Burgtheater and awarded the Nestroy Prize for his lifetime achievement in 2025, will recite texts and poems. The theologian and psychotherapist Arnold Mettnitzer will provide thought-provoking impulses. Cathedral organist Klaus Kuchling and saxophonist and composer Edgar Unterkirchner will engage in a musical dialogue with the spoken word through their performances. Between All Saints and Advent, between Halloween festivities and pre-Christmas busyness, a space for calm, reflection, and encounter is created.
