Kultur am Berg Konzerte in Pölling

What's it about?

Spring begins | Friday, March 20, 2026 | "LANGESLEB‘N" (additional concert on March 21, 2026!) You can never be too rustic and rough! Celebrate, as the Langes (Spring) draws near! This is how the last two lines of Joseph Hopfartner's poem "Wånn da Langeswind ans Fenster klopft" go. Actor and audience favorite Wolfgang Böck reads the Bible in his signature role as "Trautmann" in Viennese dialect: from the scandalous book "Da Jesus und seine Hawara" by Wolfgang Teuschl. The improvisation duo i DiOscuri – with organist Wolfgang Horvath on piano and Edgar Unterkirchner on saxophone – take you on an exciting journey through their improvised musical bridges across the biblical imagery of Jerusalem, Vienna, Pölling, and into paradise…! Matinee on the Mountain | Sunday, June 21, 2026 | "HERZWEITMACHER" The impressive premiere conversation in 2025 with Ursula Plassnik left a mark on many people and suggested a continuation.
