In the artist's studio gallery of painter Harald Scheicher (born 1959), more than 80 paintings are permanently on display in a spacious and generous hanging. These depict landscapes from Carinthia — lakes, mountains, towns, and gardens — highlighting the beauty and unique character of the South Carinthian region. The paintings are created in all seasons outdoors directly in front of the motif, with Harald Scheicher emphasizing the process of image creation — the painting becomes a record of seeing. During his hikes and drives, the artist repeatedly finds motifs that fascinate him. Harald Scheicher has been painting since the age of 13.
