The museum presents valuable regional historical objects and artworks from antiquity to the present: archaeological finds, Roman inscriptions, sacred folk customs, town views, portraits, medieval and baroque statues, farmhouse furniture, bee flight boards, traditional civic costumes, etc. A special focus shows the detailed historical documentation of the events at the time of the Carinthian Plebiscite 1918–1920. Tips: district relief, a show grave from the Hallstatt period, wickerwork stones around 800, Markt-Freyung, plebiscite frescoes by Prof. Hermann Heller and the copy of the Peace Bell from 1930, etc.
